Privacy Policy

This policy explains what VoiceRemover (www.voiceremover.app) keeps about you, why, for how long, and who processes it for us. Questions: support@voiceremover.app.

1. What we keep and for how long

• The file you upload (for a video, only the sound your browser took out of it): kept in our file storage to be processed, deleted as soon as processing finishes or fails, and in any case within 1 day.
• The two separated tracks: deleted 24 hours after processing. If anything is missed, a storage rule deletes it 2 days after it was made.
• The file’s name: shown on your history page and used to name the downloads; removed after 30 days.
• A record of each song you process (when, how long, how big, which format, which page, which plan paid for it, whether it finished), without the file or its name: kept for the free limits, the history page and our statistics.
• A random browser ID (kept in your browser and in a cookie) and a one-way hash of it, and a one-way hash of your IP address: used to count free songs per browser and per internet connection. We don’t store your IP address for this (it is stored only with sign-in sessions, below).
• If you sign in: your email address (and, with Google sign-in, your name and profile picture from Google); your sign-in sessions, with the IP address and browser they came from (a session lasts up to 30 days); your plan, your pack balance and its history; and the language for our emails.
• Payments: Waffo Pancake handles your payment details. We receive the order number, the product, the amount, the status and the email address you paid with.
• Usage events (for example “file chosen”, “download”, “checkout started”), with country, device type and the site that sent you, linked to the random browser ID or your account: kept to understand how the Service is used.
• Sign-in emails: the address and how many links were sent to it in the last hour, to stop abuse.

Records without an end date above are kept until you ask us to delete them (section 4).

2. Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare runs the Service: hosting, the database (in the western United States), file storage, email sending, and Turnstile, which may run a check in your browser to tell people from bots.
• fal.ai (Features & Labels Inc., United States) runs the separation model. fal fetches your audio through a temporary link that works for 2 hours. We ask fal to delete the separated parts after 2 hours. By fal’s default, the request records (the settings and the temporary link) are kept for 30 days. See fal’s privacy policy.
• Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record, runs checkout, payments, invoices, refunds and subscriptions, and receives your payment details directly.
• Google: if you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name, email address and profile picture. Google Analytics, on www.voiceremover.app only, records which pages are visited and where visitors come from, using cookies; we don’t send it what you do in the tool, such as processing or downloading a song.

We don’t sell your data or use your files to train any model.

3. Cookies and browser storage

• vr_bid (cookie and browser storage): the random browser ID for the free limit; 1 year.
• vr_lang (cookie): the language of the last page you viewed, for our emails; 1 year.
• vr_hv (cookie): shows the bot check was passed; 24 hours.
• Sign-in session cookies: only if you sign in; up to 30 days.
• vr.hasHistory (browser storage): shows the History link once you have processed a song.
• vr.visit and vr.job.* (tab storage): this tab’s visit and songs; cleared when you close the tab.
• Google Analytics sets its own cookies on www.voiceremover.app.

4. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: email support@voiceremover.app. We answer within 2 business days and complete the request within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your plan, your pack balance and your history; it doesn’t refund unused songs or Pro time (refunds follow the Refund Policy). Payment records kept by Waffo Pancake follow its own policy and legal retention rules.

5. Children

The Service is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, and important changes are also emailed to account holders.
